Sixth: Comparatives/ Superlatives/ Harry Potter


Comparatives- are used to compare differences between two nouns.


For example, “Spain is hotter than Finland”.


Superlatives - are used to express the extreme or highest quality between three or more nouns. 


For example, “ The blue whale is the heaviest animal in the world”.

1.Use the picture below to write three comparative sentences and three superlative sentences. For example, “Sally is younger than Tom”.- Comparative




2. Find 5 sentences that use comparatives and superlatives in the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
